It would seem as tho I came into this world with a mind that’s predisposed for barking at the moon. Whether it’s in the sky or it’s reflection in a window.
During the clear summer nights there are times when the full moon is so perfectly reflected in one of my west side windows that you’d be hard pressed to distinguish it from the one rising in the eastern night sky. I don’t bother to differentiate, I just bark with joy at my two moon phenomena.
I could ponder the deception, is it the eyes or the mind, and who or what is it conspiring to deceive. But I’d just rather dance along with the illusion of my moons until the next illusion taps me on the shoulder to cut in and then I dance with it.
Illusions and perspectives are always shifting in the sands of time. Honing our perceptions with the stone of intrinsic awareness allows us to freely bark at that moons.
